in this 5 month apprenticeship participants will learn and develop the fundamental skills necessary to confidently identify the many mushrooms encountered in our forests and beyond. This series will include Edible species, Toxicity & Poisonings, Medicinal species (myco-medicinals), Fungal Ecology, Myco-medicinal preparation and preservation, utilitarian uses of fungi, as well as collection protocol and gathering ethics.
